PAKON INTRODUCES THE NEW F335 DIGITAL HIGH SPEED SCANNING SYSTEM

ORLANDO, Fla., February 20 — The new PAKON F335 High Speed Film Scanning System features one-pass scanning technology, digital minilab quality, DIGITAL ICE technology, a new LED light source and offers outstanding speed, quality and price all in one.

The F335 model is a high-quality, 16-bit film scanner for 35 mm (negative, positive, or B&W) or APS film. The F335 scans rolls of up to forty images, as well as strips down to two frames. The scanner automatically reads the DX code from 35 mm film. Built-in DX code reading means correct frame numbering. The scanner is low maintenance via automatic calibration and diagnostics. Scanning capabilities at multiple resolutions up to 2000x3000 pixels-per-inch (ppi) gives the F335 the flexibility to meet the most demanding output requirements.

The exclusive high-speed scanning technology and efficient workflow management software make the F335 system an excellent choice. Scan once and create unique digital products such as KODAK Picture CDs with thumbnails, and the KODAK Picture Folio. Connect the F335 System to KODAK thermal printers, KODAK Picture Maker kiosks, digital minilabs and hybrid minilab systems for easy printing from DSC cards.

The new F335 system offers extremely high productivity, scanning up to 2,150 images per hour at 1500x2250 ppi. The unique design and high quality make it an ideal component in the following applications:

• Behind the counter desktop scanners
• Input device for digital minilab systems
• Input device for kiosk applications
