FERNANDO SILVA NAMED GM OF PAKON INC.

Pakon Inc. is pleased to announce that Fernando G. Silva has been named General Manager. Silva replaces James Truc, who died unexpectedly in November.

Most recently, Silva worked in the Kodak Consumer Imaging Division as Worldwide Platform Manager, Consumer Film, focusing on product and system innovation in the consumer space.

Silva joined Kodak in1982 as an electrical engineer in the equipment division. He held a number of engineering positions and in 1987 was assigned to help lead the start-up of camera manufacturing in Brazil.

Silva holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he earned "Scholar of the Year" distinction. Silva also holds a Master of Business degree from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business from the University of Rochester.
